Confectionery, meat, aquaculture, agriculture, viticulture, pharmaceuticals and chemical companies are just some of the many industries that use plastic bins as bulk receptacles for each production stage.
With base connecting plates fitted, they can even be rotated using a forklift attachment, to allow the contents to be tipped out.
PLASTIC CONTAINER MODELS
Model KFB-1 is a half folding plastic bin, with vented sides and base, to allow air flow through the product or produce.
It is the same footprint as a standard Aussie pallet 1162mm x 1162mm x 560mm high external (folded it is only 280mm high), and 1090mm x 1080mm x 400mm high internal.
Capacity is 350 Kgs. Bulk stacked it is 2800 Kgs, so it can be stacked 8 high – full, or 20 high folded. Folding allows for lower shipping return costs.
Working temperature range is -20oC to +40oC. Unit weight is 44 Kgs.
Base is two way entry. Manufactured from food grade polymer with high UV stabiliser content.
Non vented model is available, as is a dust cover lid.
Now you can load bulk product into a Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC), transport it safely in the container, then fold the container and the bag for return to sender. (The inside of the ABLE Container is approx. 1100 x 1100 x 1100 high. Load cap 1000 Kgs)
Here's another product. We can also supply poly bag inserts for the FIBCs for those who need to adhere to strict hygienic packaging (bag in bag).
Simply place the FIBC into the mesh container (then add the plastic insert bag if required), then pull each FIBC bag corner loop down on the outside and secure it with a plastic tie. The bag is now fully open and ready for filling.
The receiver can unload the FIBC using a manual scoop or vacuum, or by releasing the loops and pulling the bag out from the mesh container using forklift tines.
Returned ABLE Containers are stackable at 6:1 ratio so the freight savings can be considerable in a closed loop system.
With a modification to the underside of the ABLE Container, it is also possible to rotate the container and contents.
The types of FIBC's available are shown below.
